§ Mr. FernyhoughOur officers are continuing to make every effort to place the apprentices with firms with whom they78W can continue their training, and to date 15 apprentices have been placed in their own or comparable training trades. Those who have to leave home for this purpose will be able to apply for a weekly maintenance allowance and certain other benefits under the Training Allowances Scheme.
