§ Mr. Moreasked the Secretary of State for Defence what amount of public funds was expended on negotiations to re-sell 65W to previous owners the various areas of the former Admiralty depot at Ditton Priors, Shropshire, prior to the termination of those negotiations on or about 10th January, 1967.
§ Mr. Moreasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he is aware that the roads serving the former rail-based Admiralty depot at Ditton Priors, Shropshire, are quite unsuitable for ammunition lorry traffic; and whether he intends to reopen the former depot railway.
§ Mr. ReynoldsAny damage which may be caused to the roads by the ammunition lorry traffic will be made good. The implications of reopening the railway link are being studied.
