HC Deb 13 February 1967 vol 741 cc15-6W
92. Mr. George Jeger

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether it is proposed to resume talks with Spain about Gibraltar; and whether he will place first on the agenda the removal of the frontier restrictions imposed by Spain.

Mr. Mulley

On 20th December, 1966, we voted in favour of a Resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations whichinter alia called on us and Spain to continue negotiations. No date has been fixed for talks to be resumed but when they are we shall continue to press for the removal of the frontier restrictions.
