HC Deb 09 February 1967 vol 740 cc354-5W
60. Mr. Dempsey

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that sailing tickets for travel by steamer between Glasgow and Belfast and Dublin which were formerly issued free of charge, are now to cost 5s. each; and if he will refer this increase to the National Board for Prices and Incomes.

Mr. J. P. W. Mallalieu

A charge for sailing tickets on a limited number of summer sailings was introduced in 1966. I did not then regard a reference to the National Board for Prices and Incomes as justified.
