§ Mr. Roy JenkinsIn reply to the first part of the Question, I would refer the right hon. Gentleman to the Written Answer I gave to the Question he asked on 19th January [Vol. 739, c.113]; in 351W reply to the second part, I cannot add to the information in the Mountbatten Report; and in reply to the third part, while it will take time before some of the recommendations in the Mountbatten Report can become effective, all possible measures are being taken meanwhile to prevent the escape of dangerous prisoners.
