HC Deb 09 February 1967 vol 740 cc368-9W
Mr. Eadie

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what proportion of the total expenditure on defence was expended in Scotland, England and Wales, respectively, in 1965; and what estimate he has made of such expenditure in 1966.

Mr. Mason

I would refer my hon. Friend to the Answer I gave to the hon. Member for Carmarthen (Mr. Gwynfor Evans) on 20th January.

I will write to the hon. Member as soon as the analysis has been completed: but I must say now that to extend it to cover the rest of 1966 would involve a great deal of extra work which I do not think would be justified.—[Vol. 739. c. 159.]
