§ Mr. HoyPrecise information is not available but from data provided by the Milk Marketing Board it is estimated that some 57 million gallons of milk were sold raw by retail during the year ended 31st M arch, 1966. This represents less than 4 per cent. of total liquid consumption (1,469 million gallons) during the period. There were 9,345 producer retailers at March, 1966.
