§ Mr. Pardoeasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what representations he has received concerning contract number 192 for an extension of the water supply from Kilkhampton to Stibb and Poughill; and if he will now approve the expenditure of £25,400 on this scheme.
§ Mr. Greenwood:I have received a copy of a letter addressed to the North Devon Water Board in November by two residents of Stibb, and on 13th December the hon. Member wrote to me enclosing a petition signed by fourteen others. I am awaiting information from the Board about the urgency of the need for the scheme before deciding whether it can properly be carried out at the present time.
