§ Mr. Awdryasked the Minister of Transport if she will make a statement about the progress of the improvements to the A4 in Colne.
§ Mr. Carmichael:The acquisition of the land required for the Curzon Street diversion has been delayed by the need to obtain an additional area to replace part of a public open space. It is hoped that work will start early in 1968. The continuation between High Street and the Strand will follow and land acquisition for this section will start shortly.
