§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Prime Minister whether he will instruct Ministers not to enter into Government contracts with any international company which violates sanctions against the illegal Rhodesian régime.
§ The Prime MinisterThe Government would certainly take a very grave view of such action, and this would inevitably seriously affect consideration of contracts with such a company. I do not think, however, that a general instruction in the sense my hon. Friend suggests is necessary.
