§ 72. Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Postmaster-General if he will take steps to improve the postal delivery service between Forfar and the South-West of England, in view of the fact that express delivery parcels are taking up to seven days in transit.
§ Mr. Joseph Slater:I am sorry about the excessive delay to the parcel sent by the hon. Gentleman's constituent on 27th November and I shall be writing to him about this. In the New Year I will have special checks made of the parcel post service from Forfar to the South-West of England to see what more can he done to reduce delay.
