§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will propose action at the United Nations over the failure of Malawi, South Africa and such other countries which have failed to supply to the United Nations figures on their trade with Rhodesia.
§ Mr. Goronwy Roberts:No. While we hope that all members of the United Nations will comply with the Secretary General's request for these trade statistics, it is for the Security Council to decide whether any member is failing to meet its obligations or whether any further action needs to be taken in any given case.
