asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what representations he has had from the Government of Peru on the subject of the import of vicuna and the consequent danger of its extinction; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts:

No representations have been received from the Government of Peru on this subject.

As regards the second part of the question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the Written Answer given him on 1 1 th December by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary at the Board of Trade.—[Vol. 756, c.72.]
