HC Deb 12 December 1967 vol 756 c73W
33. Mr. Palmer

asked the Minister of Power if he will state the cost to date of his model of the fuel economy, the numbers of staff now employed and their total salaries; and whether he proposes to maintain the organisation as a permanent part of his Department.

Mr. Marsh

Twelve staff, with annual salaries of about £20,000, are now employed on this work for which the total cost to date to the Ministry has been approximately £31,000. Development will continue over several years, during which time the model is expected to become increasingly integrated into the Department's planning machinery.
