§ Mr. MarshThe Bill provides for reimbursement of any additional costs incurred by Gas Boards in using extra coal to help the coal industry instead of other feedstocks. The effect, in Scotland as elsewhere, will be that the Boards' total costs will be no higher than if they had adopted the most economic methods of production.
