§ Commander Purseyasked the Postmaster-General if he will state the number of extra staff, male and female respectively, to be taken on for the Christmas period in the Hull area, and the numbers from the employment exchange.
§ Mr. Joseph SlaterAbout 850 extra full-time staff and 200 part-time staff are required in the Hull postal area. Of the full-time staff being recruited 630 are male and 220 female. We expect about 235 of these (200 men and 35 women) to come through the Employment Exchange.
