Mr. Buchanan-Smith

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what were the gross and the net figures for 1966–67 for emigration from Scotland both to England and overseas; and if he will publish a table showing the figures for each of the past five years.

Mr. MacArthur

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the net migration loss from Scotland in 1966–67 to overseas countries, and to other parts of the United Kingdom, respectively.
