§ Mr. George H. Perryasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if lie will make a statement on the cancellation of the Initernational Poultry Show, 1967.
§ Mr. PeartThe organisers of the International Poultry Show were advised by my Department that it would be wise to cancel the show because many of the poultry exhibited at the show and farmers attending it would come from the infected areas and might possibly carry the virus mechanically. I have assured the Show Director of my full support for the decisions of the organisers who took this action without being asked.
