§ Mr. Andersonasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will take steps to alleviate the shortage of employment opportunities, particularly for school leavers, in those areas of Monmouthshire excluded from the Welsh Development Area, having regard to the further disincentives to those industrialists wishing to establish themselves in these areas foreshadowed by the recently announced proposal for a regional employment premium.
§ Mr. DarlingI would welcome the creation of additional employment opportunities by suitable industrial projects in 295W those parts of Monmouthshire outside the Development Area and where appropriate would authorise the issue of industrial development certificates.
