§ Mr. HealeyDevelopments in the Department of Defence in the field of systems analysis were taken into account in the studies which led to the recent changes in organisation within the Ministry of Defence, particularly the appointment of the Chief Adviser (Studies) and the setting up of the Programme Evaluation Group announced in the Statement on Defence Estimates, 1967 (Cmnd. 3203) Chapter I, paragraphs 57 to 59.
