asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the trawler fishermen are insured against damage to their ships as a result of contamination by oil or detergents contracted through their help in dealing with the "Torrey Canyon" disaster.

There are no general requirements governing trawler owners' insurance policies, and the particular risks covered would depend on the terms of the individual policies.
