asked the Minister of Transport what increase or decrease there has been in the staff of her Department since 16th October, 1964; and what increase or decrease she anticipates in the period up to 15th October, 1967.

Since 16th October, 1964 there has been a decrease of 50: it is estimated that between now and 15th October, 1967 there will be an increase of some 500, mainly for duties connected with the roadworthiness of goods vehicles.
