§ Mr. Longdenasked the Minister of Transport when the widening of Scots Hill and of Cassio Bridge on the A142 between Rickmansworth and Watford will be put in hand.
§ Mr. SwinglerThese are improvements to A412 which is a classified road. Rickmansworth Urban District Council are the highway authority responsible for the widening at Scots Hill; I am told that present plans are to start work next summer. Watford Borough Council are the highway authority responsible for the 195W Cassio Bridge improvement; I understand it is hoped that work can start before the end of this summer.
