§ Q12. Mr. Eldon Griffiths
asked the Prime Minister if he will set up an interdepartmental study group from the Foreign Office, Defence Department, Board of Trade and Ministry of Overseas Development to consider the future rôle of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and to draw up possible British proposals for the revision and extension of the current North Atlantic Treaty after its expiry in 1969.

The North Atlantic Treaty does not expire in 1969.
