§ Mr. PeartI would refer the hon. Member to the statement which I made on behalf of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and myself on 5th August last. We intend to set up an Advisory Committee on Farm Animal Welfare, and to introduce legislation, on proposals for which we have already consulted the interests concerned, as soon as we can.—[Vol. 733, c.200–203.]
