§ Mr. MacDermotNegotiations on outstanding Pay Research surveys are continuing for the purpose of establishing facts: it will be possible to carry them further when the discussions with the Trades Union Congress and the Confederation of British Industry about the criteria to govern increases in incomes during the period of severe restraint have been completed.
