§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesI have confidence in the longer term industrial propects for Wales; my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade is providing very substantial employment opportunities. Some temporary rise in unemployment is inevitable during the present period of restraint; but I am keeping a close watch on the situation and, if additional measures are needed, the Government will not hesitate to take them.
