asked the Minister of Labour if he will state the reason for the delay in the publication of the Licensed Non-resident Establishment Wages Council's Proposal, No. LNR 68, on which agreement was reached in advance of publication on 23rd September and could have been announced and in operation before 20th July.

These proposals were not agreed by the Council until 21st July, 1966 and could not, therefore, have become operative before the prices and incomes standstill. No undue delay occurred between the settlement meeting of the Council on 21st July and the publication of the proposals on 23rd September.
