§ Mr. Roy JenkinsReports of alleged illegal plying for hire are normally made to local police stations. Figures of complaints are not really available; but during the twelve months ended 30th September, 1966, there were seven prosecutions for illegal plying for hire in the Metropolitan Police District, all of which resulted in convictions.
