HC Deb 21 November 1966 vol 736 c216W
56. Mr. Corfield

asked the Minister of Health what proposals he has for supplementing the contribution of over £7,000 raised by the League of Friends of Cossham Hospital, Bristol, to meet the total cost of £10,000 needed for extra beds; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. K. Robinson

None. I am grateful to the League of Friends for this splendid effort but the Hospital Management Committee have already contributed £2,000 and the South Western Regional Hospital Board £250 out of non-Exchequer funds, and the Board have agreed to meet the revenue costs of the extra beds. Any further contribution by the Board would be at the expense of other developments planned for Bristol.
