§ Dr. BrayA number of area boards are planning to carry out pilot schemes for converting selected groups of consumers which will probably include some consumers in the Greater London area. It is not yet possible to forecast beyond this.
Direct supplies of natural gas would make corresponding reductions in the need for gas plant, and, because of the higher calorific value, would increase the capacity of the distribution.
