§ Mr. Edward ShortI have received a number of letters and petitions from the general public urging me not to take action against the pirate stations and also some urging me to take action against them. Hon. Members have transmitted124W similar letters to me on behalf of constituents. In reply I have pointed out the dangers of allowing anarchy in the use of radio wavelengths to continue and underlined the need for legislation.
