§ 74. Sir Ian Orr-Ewingasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what plans he has for reducing the number of people employed in Government Departments on clerical work so that they may be made available for industry in general and for exporting firms in particular.
§ Mr. DiamondAs I stated on 17th May, all Government Departments are enjoined to make full use of modern techniques such as computer installations to economise in the use of manpower.
