§ Q16. Mr. Wingfield Digbyasked the Prime Minister which Department will be responsible for forestry in England on the abolition of the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources, in view of the unsuitability of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government for this task.
§ The Prime MinisterMy right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food will replace my right hon. Friend the Minister of Land and Natural Resources as a forestry Minister. The responsibilities of the other two forestry Ministers, my right hon. Friends the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, will continue unchanged.
