§ 99. Mr. James Davidsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland why teachers who are married to the headmasters of the schools in which they teach are not entitled to holiday pay.
§ Mr. RossThere is no such rule. If any such teacher is employed on a temporary basis, she is paid like other temporary teachers only for days of actual attendance at school. But she is paid at a higher daily rate and over a full year would receive exactly the same salary as if she were employed permanently.
