Mr. Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what plans have been made for increasing the numbers of medical students; and if he will make a statement on his proposals, financial and otherwise, to alleviate the problems of general practitioners.
§ Mr. RossOn the first part of the Question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to him by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health on 26th January. On the second part of the Question, I would ask my hon. Friend to await the publication of the final report of the negotiations between the Government and representatives of the profession, and the report of the review body on levels of remuneration.
