Mr. Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on his future plans for the creation of health centres.
§ Mr. RossI have undertaken to provide health centres in the new towns of Livingston and Cumbernauld and in Glasgow. Proposals for health centres in a number of other areas are being considered. Generally, within the limits of our resources, I want to encourage the development of health centres wherever the local conditions are favourable.
