asked the Minister of Technology if he will give the number and previous occupation of the civil servants currently employed in the Computer Advisory Service.

asked the Minister of Technology if he will list the Government Departments, local authorities and nationalised industries which have been advised or are being advised by his Computer Advisory Service.

Mr. Cousins

Since the Computer Advisory Service was set up last year its advice has been sought in connection with 25 Government Department computer projects, 28 local authority projects and 11 projects within the nationalised industries. A number of local authorities have asked that their consultations with the Computer Advisory Service should be kept confidential.
