Edenasked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the fact that the proposed new Bournemouth town centre by-pass will cut through existing parishes with large numbers of elderly residents, she will modify the proposals so as to allow for the construction of underpasses at suitable points.
§ Mr. John MorrisBournemouth County Borough is the Highway Authority for the town centre by-pass. So far they have made no specific proposals for underpasses for pedestrians in their design.
