§ Mr. Parkasked the Minister of Transport whether she is aware of the inconvenience and delay being caused to residents of the area as a result of the closure of Stanton Road, Sandiacre, Derbyshire, in order to facilitate the construction of the M.1 motorway; how long it will be before the road is reopened; and what steps she is taking to expedite the completion of the construction work.
§ Mr. SwinglerThe contractors have been asked to hasten completion of the bridge to carry Stanton Road over the 447W motorway. We hope the road will be reopened by 23rd April. I regret the inconvenience to residents meanwhile.
