§ Mr. Bostonasked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs if he is aware that the Isle of Sheppey was put forward in the Kent Development Plan for major development, but that this proposal was not included in the South-East Study, causing dissatisfaction to the county council, the three island local authorities and many other bodies; and if this proposal will now be referred to the new South-East Economic Planning Council.
§ Mr. William RodgersMy right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government has recently informed the Kent County Council that the possibility of planned expansion at Sheppey might now be explored further and that the Economic Planning Council will be consulted in due course.
