§ 89. Mr. McMasterasked the Minister of Aviation how many workers he estimates will leave the aircraft and aeroengine industries over the next five years in conformity with the Government's National Plan.
§ Mr. MulleyThe National Plan assumes that the aircraft industry will be one of the contracting industries in the period up to 1970. As I stated in the debate on the Plowden Committee's report, I estimate that the present work force of about 250,000 employees will fall to not more than 200,000 by 1970.
