§ 45. Mr. Palmerasked the Minister of Power if he will make a statement on the reduced position of power station coal stocks due to the premature running down of the coal industry aggravated by the shipping strike.
§ Mr. MarshCoal stocks at those power stations in the South of England which 29W are wholly supplied by sea have naturally been falling since the shipping strike began. At other stations, however, stocks are close to the planned level for the time of year, and are increasing at a satisfactory rate.
