§ Mr. John MackieNo. The law requires such animals (excluding poultry) to be stunned, except those slaughtered by Jews for the food of Jews or by Mohammedans for the food of Mohammedans. A Bill introduced by my hon. Friend the Member for Bury and Radcliffe, at present before the House, would extend similar arrangements to poultry.
