HC Deb 27 July 1966 vol 732 cc298-9W
Mr. Onslow

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the new Double Taxation Agreement with New Zealand will be brought before this House for approval; and what arrangements he is making to pay to British pensioners resident in New Zealand the refunds which will become due to them.

Mr. MacDermot

It is hoped to announce very shortly the date when the House will be asked to approve this Agreement. The Inland Revenue will make any refunds of tax due to pensioners under the Agreement as soon as possible after it enters into force.
