HC Deb 27 July 1966 vol 732 c271W
Mr. Brewis

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will provide more suitable ambulances for rural areas where patients have to travel long distances to hospital.

Mr. Millan

The Scottish Ambulance Service has a vehicle replacement programme under which the older types of ambulance are gradually being replaced by modern and more confortable vehicles. These are regarded as suitable for use in rural areas.
