(2) if he will list the countries economic aid to which he proposes to cut, together with the amounts.
§ Mr. Hastingsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give details of the reductions he intends to make in the level of overseas civil aid.
§ Mr. DiamondThe reductions on which the Government has decided must be followed by consultation with the overseas Governments and others concerned and at this stage I cannot give further details. The current rate of expenditure is related to the figure of £225 million for 1966–67 previously announced.
