HC Deb 25 July 1966 vol 732 cc198-9W
Mr. Ridley

asked the Prime Minister what is the present annual expenditure on tourism outside the sterling area in terms of foreign exchange; and by how much he expects to reduce it by limiting it to £50 per person as from 1st November.

Mr. MacDermot

I have been asked to reply.

About £225 million. As to the second part of the Question, I would refer to the Answer given to the hon. Member for Oswestry (Mr. Biffen) today.
