§ 47. Sir D. Rentonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science why seven projects, together amounting to £604,500, have been excluded from the building programme for 1967–68 proposed by the local education authority in the Huntingdonshire division of the County of Huntingdon and Peterborough.
§ Mr. RedheadSubmissions for the programme as a whole greatly exceeded the resources available. In selecting projects for inclusion the needs of Huntingdon had to be measured against pressing demands elsewhere. I am satisfied that the area has been given a fair share of the total programme.
