§ Mr. Wallasked the Minister of Transport why, in view of the possibility of the construction of a bridge over the Humber and the building-up of an expert team for the spinning of suspension bridge cables, the specialised spinning equipment necessary for such work is now being put up for sale by tender.
§ Mr. SwinglerAs there must inevitably be an interval of some years before the spinning equipment could be used on a Humber Bridge it is preferable to make the equipment available for use elsewhere.
